Congratulations on your new addition to your beautiful family! Oliver is absolutely adorable and looks like Maya. She is also getting really big and is doing a great job holding her little brother. Many blessings to you and your family. |

Oliver is born! What a sweet, peaceful baby. Maybe hard to tell from the pictures but he has alot of sort of peach colored hair. Could be blond, could be red. When he gets upset, he is easily soothed. Best of all, he is letting his Mama get some sleep. Maya calls him Brother, and is a bit uncertain as to what his arrival in her life means. Right now, it means she gets to play with Gramama all day every day. And lots of new toys. She is very smart and can already recognize many letters and count up to 5! She like to wear 2 ponytails just like her Mama did when she was 2. We were looking at books and I told her Uncle John was good at baseball and she told me, "Maya plays basketball". I think she is a bit too petite for the NBA.
I could not be prouder of Sam and Sara. They are wonderful partners and fabulous parents. They have successfully built a tight loving family surrounded by a caring community of friends. Thank you all for being such a supportive part of my children's lives. I hear stories about you all the time. Dinners and gifts are mysteriously appearing on the doorstep. If a person's wealth is measured by the lives they touch, Sam and Sara are wealthy indeed. |

Maya is talking up a storm and letting her opinions be known! When I showed her a pretty dress in the store she said, "Not that, put back." She liked the yellow one, not the green! |
